With the WFH paradigm shift forcing teachers and students to study over Zoom, the College of the Florida Keys needed a way to protect their remote assets. Finding a cloud-based solution with modern patching capabilities was critical since their risk exposure spread across every device connected to the network perimeter. Additionally, working in a reactionary loop made it very difficult for their team to reduce risk when they weren’t able to predict what was coming. For the College of the Florida Keys, their students’ privacy always came first, and protecting it was their main priority. But they needed a solution that provided risk analysis and mitigation––that’s where Vicarius came in.
TOPIA’s risk-analysis engine helped the College of the Florida Keys identify multiple high-risk applications that were vulnerable to exploitation. Within 2 weeks, the College of the Florida Keys significantly reduced their risk level with TOPIA’s vulnerability management tools. TOPIA has empowered the College of the Florida Keys to take a proactive, rather than a reactive, approach to their risk reduction efforts.
