Patch
CVE-2023-49785
with vRx
Mitigation
The mitigation for this vulnerability depends on how you have installed the application.
Depending on the wide deployment patterns, 2 mitigation strategies should cover most of the installations.
These are:
Updating the docker images.
Updating the GitHub project to get the latest code.
The first solution applies to those who have been using docker images for easy deployment.
The second solution applies to those who have cloned the repositories and have deployed the project from there.
Solution #1:
Update the chatgpt-next-web container image to the latest one:
docker pull yidadaa/chatgpt-next-web:latest
Solution #2:
Navigate to the ChatGPT-Next-Web project directory pull the latest code and install all the dependencies:
cd ChatGPT-Next-Web
git pull origin master
yarn install
And that should address the vulnerability for most of the deployments.
