CVE Description

An issue was discovered in Django 5.0 before 5.0.8 and 4.2 before 4.2.15. QuerySet.values() and values_list() methods on models with a JSONField are subject to SQL injection in column aliases via a crafted JSON object key as a passed *arg.

What the Remediation Script Does: It verifies if Django is installed on the system. If not, it exits with a message saying no remediation is needed. The script retrieves and displays the installed Django version. It compares the installed version with known vulnerable versions (`4.2.15` and `5.0.8`).If the installed version is older than these versions, it's marked as vulnerable. If the installed version is vulnerable, it upgrades Django to the secure version (`4.2.15` for Django 4.x or `5.0.8` for Django 5.x). After the upgrade, it checks the new Django version and confirms whether the version is secure. The script prints whether the system is secure or if further manual review is required.
