The CVE-2024-38063 is a critical vulnerability in the Windows TCP/IP stack, impacting the IPv6 protocol implementation. This flaw allows a remote attacker to execute malicious code on Windows systems, including both servers and workstations, without any user interaction. By sending a specially crafted IPv6 packet to a vulnerable device, the attacker can gain SYSTEM-level privileges, granting full control over the affected machine.
