Life outside of work: One thing I do to recharge is disconnect from screens and connect with the outside world – whether it’s quality time with close friends and family or birdwatching in a park.

Dreams & future goals:  If I could take a year off work, I wouldn’t mind volunteering at an animal shelter or a farm in a peaceful setting.

Life outside of work: I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by my family and animals. I’m a huge animal lover and advocate, and I love filling my home with fosters.

Dreams & future goals: One day, I’d love to open my own animal shelter to help rescue animals find their forever homes!

Fun & random: The most surprising thing about me is that I grew up on a farm, where I was surrounded by animals of all sizes - from rabbits and chinchillas to guinea pigs, cats, dogs, horses, and more! If I weren’t in tech, I’d probably be a veterinarian.

Motherhood & life lessons: If I had to describe motherhood in cybersecurity terms, I’d say it’s like a new vulnerability discovered every hour when Ella finds new ways to reach the cupboard and exploit what’s inside it.

Strengths & personality: If you need advice on stocks, I’m your person!

Life outside of work: One thing I do to recharge is walking on the beach or in nature.

Dreams & future goals: If I could take a year off work, I’d spend it building a nonprofit tech organization that assists medical research.

Hobbies & unexpected talents: Tech is my day job, but my secret talent is piano - I’ve played since I was five.

Motherhood & life lessons: If I had to describe motherhood in cybersecurity terms, I’d say it’s like running an always-on SOC (Security Operations Center) - constant monitoring, rapid incident response, and never enough sleep.

Dreams & future goals: If I could take a year off work, I’d spend it traveling around the whole world.

Motherhood & life lessons: Having multiple children, each with their own unique personalities, is a lot like working with a diverse team - what works for one might not work for another! It’s all about finding that personal touch for each of them.

Hobbies & unexpected talents: I started my career in advertising, and yes, I’ve sometimes thought about going back to the creative madness. I even tried a few years ago - but they wouldn’t have me. I’ve become too B2B-ized.

Strengths & personality: My friends and family say my superpower is not reacting too much to anything - good or bad.

Life outside of work: One thing I do to recharge is music, hikes, and yoga.
Dreams & future goals: The next big thing I want to do is work in an animal non-profit or healthcare - cancer research or a children’s hospital.

Fun & random: The immigrant journey is a critical part of my life, and I’ve always loved “Wavin’ Flag” by K’Naan - “When I get older, I will be stronger.”

Motherhood & life lessons: The best life lesson I ever got actually came after giving birth - realizing that if I could create and bring a tiny human into the world, there’s truly nothing I can’t handle.

Hobbies & unexpected talents: Outside of work, I’m known for my obsession with taking the scenic (and sometimes totally questionable) route - if there’s an unbeaten path, you can bet I’ll find a way to walk it!
